Rizwan Shoukat

CEO and Founder

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Shoukat is a senior executive with strong leadership experience in strategy development and implementation; and a keen understanding of the corporate and the development world. Mr. Shoukat holds proven leadership record of starting new businesses, creating winning teams, and enhancing shareholders’ value.

He is a certified six sigma practitioner who possesses senior level knowledge in steering/directing large-scale projects, human resource development, project management and knowledge management processes, risk mitigation and delivering best-fit business solutions. Being an experienced leader, Mr. Shoukat’s preferred method of leading high-level corporate initiatives is motivation. He has a proven track record in improving efficiencies, reducing costs, increasing revenues, and strategic initiation of new ventures. He has created telecom consulting practice for the emerging markets while winning business with world renowned network operators and creating clients for life.

 

Muhammad Ahmed Shamim 

Associate Partner 

Muhammad Ahmed is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in Strategy and Transformation. His work spans multiple sectors and has successfully delivered transformations across North America, Europe, Southern Africa and the Middle East. His work has included strategy development, project portfolio management, and the set up and delivery of effective PMO services. 

 

He is also a Project Management SME and holds multiple certifications including MSP, MoP and PRINCE2 within traditional Programme & Project Management, and is a certified ScrumMaster in Agile Project Management. He also holds certifications in ITIL and COBIT for Governance and has been awarded Chartered status by the British Computer Society. 

 

For an International Travel Company, he led the development and delivery of a $45 Million Pan-European transformation, where he was required to manage a mix matrix team of Financial, HR, Legal and Technology experts. The change programme resulted in delivering operational enhancements to the organization whilst delivering savings of 15% within an operating budget of $150 million. For a Global Bank, he acted as Transformation Lead, evaluating options for acquisition, and led subsequent integration activities with budgets of up to $70 million to migrate segregated in-country services into a centralized shared services organization. Muhammad Ahmed has also recently acted an Strategy Lead, leading a team to undertake an IT review of an underperforming Investment Management Firm, identified key areas for improvement, and devised their IT strategy to support their global growth ambitions. 

Adeel Iqbal 

Director Business Operations

Mr. Iqbal is an adept ICT professional and program manager with proficient knowledge of business analysis, data analysis, strategic planning, data warehousing, business processes and operations optimization and management information systems/decision support systems. Mr. Iqbal’s portfolio includes conducting project-level evaluations for clients such as, USAID, ACTED, Abt, and their implementing partners, covering a wide variety of sectors. He has also worked on the design, implementation, and dissemination of information management systems in the context of M&E engagements such as health, education, disaster management and IDPs rehabilitation. His expertise includes effective steering and execution of projects, collaboration with teams and technical experts in the development of M&E systems and effective internal and external communication with the stakeholders.

Asher Osman Khan

Director Strategy, Research and Development

A professional with over 14 years of experience, Mr. Osman has led qualitative research teams for over ten projects in Pakistan. For education evaluations in Pakistan, he has used qualitative methods including interviews, focus group discussions and classroom observations. He is also well-versed in quantitative data collection and understands how to design and analyze qualitative research to complement quantitative methods. For AIR, he conducted a baseline evaluation of the ‘Pathways to School Success’ project in Pakistan, employing school observations and interviews for assessing the educational outcomes for early grade students. He recently managed a mixed method study for USAID Pakistan on ‘Identifying Barriers to Reading’ project. As the quality assurance manager in the monitoring and assessment of USAID’s $78 million ‘Monitoring and Evaluation Program’ (MEP), he improved efficiency and quality of deliverables, liaising across project streams to ensure consistency and compliance with data protocol.

He was also engaged as a qualitative expert for a £25 million Pakistan Education Innovation Fund-Phase II (PEIF). The PEIF Phase II (2015-19) is the successor to Ilm Ideas I and is aiming to generate innovative educational solutions to respond to the access needs of 12 million out-of-school children and the learning needs of those already in school.

 

Mr. Naeem Ahmad

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Mr. Ahmad is a competent Monitoring Evaluation and Research Professional and carries around nine (09) years of experience working for different national and international organizations. He is a diligent committed professional with a spirit of team play. Having a background in demography, and data analysis, he had been working with different organizations. His experience ranges from M&E to IM and capacity building. He has developed district profiles, Flood and Earthquake Atlases for response and relief activities carried out by humanitarian community in Pakistan, Analysis and Development of education, Health and E-bulletins incorporating infographs, conducting IM Need Assessments provincial and district level for various Social Department Government of Balochistan, compilation of Provincial Development Perspective profiles, District Profiles. These publications were prepared using high-end infographics and maps prepared by a team of professionals with different backgrounds such as research and GIS. He was responsible for refinement of activities and indicators for analysis and reporting purposes, development indicators and activities in Single Reporting Format for the sectors required by humanitarian team in Pakistan and also the development of 3, 4 and 5Ws handling. He also provides training on M&E. His area of expertise includes management of surveys, research, monitoring & evaluation, development of Data Quality Control Framework, proposal writing, data analysis, data mining, information and knowledge management and capacity building.

Faiq Iqbal

Senior Manager Operations

Mr. Faiq holds 10 years of development sector experience in the domain of monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, institutional/project assessments, community participation, operational research and human resource management. He has worked in multi sectoral projects including education, gender, livelihood, governance, community participation, rehabilitation and energy. During his career, he has worked with USAID, Save the Children, Care International, Sindh Government and other renowned public and private entities in the development sector. His portfolio includes effective team building for third party monitoring and assessment tasks, data analysis, designing monitoring frameworks and methodologies, devising project plans, liaising with stakeholders and administering national level survey and research assignments.

  • Management Systems International (MSI) awarded a subcontract to VTT in September to conduct the USAID-funded Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) of 280 schools in 13 districts of Sindh province under the Monitoring and Evaluation Program.
